BHD plans each shipment as part of the supply agreement, not as an afterthought passed to a third party. Terms, packing, documents and handover points are agreed in the quote, and one accountable house answers for the shipment from booking to arrival. Buyers get a named contact for shipment status and documents throughout.
BHD handles chemical logistics as part of the trade. Before booking, we agree product, grade, volume, packing, Incoterm and destination in writing. We then prepare the shipment documents, including invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of analysis, certificate of origin and SDS, and share them for review. One accountable house and one named contact follow the shipment through to arrival.
How BHD plans chemical logistics
Delivery is part of what we sell. Before a quote is final, we agree the product, grade, volume, packing, Incoterm and destination with you, so the freight plan matches the commitment. Nothing about the route is left to be settled after the order.
BHD Chemical and BHD Sourcing work as two divisions, one house. Whichever division supplies your goods, the same house stays accountable for the shipment until the agreed handover point.
Wax shipments
For Paraffin Wax, Slack Wax and Petroleum Jelly, we confirm the grade you approved, such as paraffin HP3 or M3, together with packing form and container load. Candle makers, wax distributors and blenders see the same grade reference on the quote, the documents and the goods.
Industrial shipments
For N-series carbon black, rubber process oils and bitumen 60/70, we agree bulk or packed supply, packing form and safety documentation before booking. Dangerous goods classification and SDS requirements are checked per product ahead of dispatch, not at the port.
Documentation and communication
Documents are prepared alongside the shipment, not after it. Your supply-team contact shares drafts for review so customs clearance and receiving go without surprises.
- Terms, packing and document set confirmed in writing before booking
- Shipment status and document copies from one named contact
- Delays reported directly, with the revised plan stated plainly

How a shipment runs

Shipment
Goods are packed and dispatched as agreed, and quality is checked against the specification before they leave. You receive status updates and document copies from one named contact.
Arrival confirmation
We confirm arrival and handover with you. If anything does not match the specification, the same accountable house takes it up.

Which Incoterms can I request?
Tell us your preferred term, for example FOB or CIF, when you ask for a quote. The agreed term is stated in writing before booking.
